and what happened? i've got a degree in banking and finance.. which i've only used about 0.1% of when i was working in OUB for a year

i had a B3 for A maths.... but... yes, it is thanks to my tuition teacher and really a lot of painful PAINFUL 10 year series..

like kittymeow, night before my O levels, I sat outside my house and wallowed in depression, cannot sleep... felt nauseous.....

wow. until now still remember tt feeling...

then many years later, i act-smart went to take grad dip in BA. Then got Financial management. Suddenly the teacher started talking about graphs... and .. u know i nearly cried in class.. cos i totally dunno what the hell he was talkng about. TOTALLY don't understand... all give back to tuition teacher liao...

With all this talk on schools.... I've got my S$0.02 to toss in.

The standards of our school teachers have been dropping drastically.

I've seen my tuition kid's Science teacher telling him that vernier calipers are used to measure dimensions in meters. And so, a reading of '4.10' on the vernier calipers corresponds to a length of 4.10 metres.

Or how about this.... an Ar of 1.0008 for hydrogen means that an atom of hydrogen has 0.0008 neutrons.

I'd like to slap the face of the fella who signed the degrees of these pseudoteachers. Mad Mad Mad

I'm a more "humanities" person as well .....

I've always enjoyed my humanities subjects a lot more than my sciences .... even in the uni ....

I majored in compy science not because I can compete for jobs with the indians .... but because of ego ....

I had no problem remembering in Lit... the only problem i had was remembering exact dates in history... but somehow I managed to get around that in the essay part... hahahaha
